Abdulatif left his home shortly after 5:30 p.m. on October 23, 2010.  His parents reported him as missing when he did not return.  He did not take his identification, medication or money with him.

Abdulatif lives with schizophrenia.  He was expected at his psychiatrist’s office on the 27th of October.  He is described as unable to care for himself.

Abdulatif often frequents David’s Pizza and Shawarma near McCarthy Road and Paul Anka Drive.  He is also known to visit the South Key Transit Station area.  According to his family, he often walks long distances.

In September, Abdulatif went missing while returning home from a volunteering session at the South Keys Wal-Mart.  He was located within a very short period of time at a Vanier mosque.  He is drawn to places of worship.

The Ottawa Police Service would like to speak with anyone who may have seen Abdulatif since October 23rd or who knows of his current whereabouts.  The Police and the Salman family would like to verify Abdulatif’s well-being.
