Additional Information : | On the day of her disappearance, Josee attended school and deposited a pay cheque at the Beacon Hill Mall. She was scheduled to work that evening but she called her boss to say that she could not come in. Just before 5:00 p.m., she was seen running across the intersection of Ogilvie Road and Montreal Road by one of her teachers. This location was two blocks from her home. Josee was reported missing the next day when her parents realized that she had not come home. Her purse was left behind at home. At the time of her disappearance, Josee was finishing two high school credits in order to attend university in the fall of that year. She was working part time with the elderly and disabled. During the course of their investigation, Ottawa Police determined that Josee’s life was stable and that there was no reason to suspect that she had run away. |
