Additional Information : | On the 30th of January, Janette had gone to Ozzie’s Eatery for the evening. At approximately 1:20 a.m., the owner saw Janette speaking with a man outside the bar. She was last seen hitchhiking north on Holland towards Tunney’s Pasture with the male walking beside her. The next day, an employee found Janette’s broken necklace in the parking lot. The police investigation established that Janette was a very devoted mother who would not have left her daughter. In addition to leaving $800 in cash at her apartment, Janette had signed a new lease on her apartment the day before her disappearance. Police concluded that it was unlikely that Janette’s disappearance was voluntary. |
