Additional Information : | Irene has been missing since September 1978. She was not reported missing until five months after her disappearance. Since the exact date of her disappearance is unknown, the 30th should be viewed as an estimate only. Donald Spindler, Irene’s common-law husband, was convicted of second degree murder. His former wife, Katherine McCoy was charged with obstructing justice. According to a witness, Spindler admitted to choking Irene and throwing her body into a well. He then claims to have thrown acid over the body. To date, Irene’s body has not been found. |
