Additional Information : | Fred Johnsen was abducted at gunpoint from his Old Forest Hill Road mansion. According to his sister-in-law, Fred was forced into a dark coloured Toyota Corolla. Although Fred’s business partner did receive a ransom demand, confusion resulted in the ransom money not being transferred to the kidnappers. In 1980, Alan Bazkur stood trial for his alleged roll in the kidnapping. He was later acquitted. Fred Johnsen was legally declared dead in 1984. During the proceedings, three possible scenarios were given to explain Johnsen’s disappearance: 1. Johnsen’s disappearance was voluntary to escape his many debts. Fred Johnsen’s body has not been located. |
