| Additional Information : | On the day of his disappearance, Ivica left the Fifty Point Marina at approximately 5:00 p.m. He planned to spend some time sailing his 32-foot boat on Lake Ontario. During that time, an intense thunderstorm erupted. He is believed to have been in the Grimsby area at the time of the storm. Ivica did not return to the marina as scheduled by 8:00 p.m. and was reported overdue. An extensive search was begun at approximately 11:00 p.m. The Westwind, Ivica’s boat, was found grounded in the area of Jordan Harbour at approximately midnight. However, Ivica was not on board. |
