Additional Information :

On March 24th, 2011, Stephen arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport to board a flight to Costa Rica for a three week vacation.  After being told that his original flight was unavailable, Stephen purchased a plane ticket to Puerto Rico through American Airlines.  A subsequent investigation has revealed that Stephen did arrive in Puerto Rico on March 27th, 2011.  However, there is no evidence that Stephen flew from Puerto Rico to Costa Rica or that he checked into a hotel.

Both Stephen’s family and his employer were surprised to learn that Stephen had planned a three week vacation without telling them.  Stephen had even booked work-related appointments for the time that he planned to be on vacation.

Stephen is described as being very close to his family.  The fact that they had not been told about Stephen’s vacation plans was puzzling and described as very much out of character. Since his disappearance, there has been no activity on his cell phone, credit cards, or bank accounts.

Investigations have been conducted in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, the United States and Canada. None have located Stephen.  His family and the Toronto Police Service are concerned for Stephen’s safety and well-being. Stephen’s family has offered a $30,000 reward for information leading to Stephen’s safe return.  Anyone with information who would like to be considered for the reward, must provide information to the Toronto Police Service. If you have information and wish to remain anonymous, please contact Crime Stoppers.  You may still be eligible for a $2,000 reward provided by Crime Stoppers.
