Additional Information : | At the time of his disappearance, Janis was renovating a home on Weeping Willow Drive in Oakville. As the owner of Oak Leaf Renovations, Janis was a self-employed contractor. Janis left his job site at approximately 2:00 p.m. in his black Chevrolet Avalanche. The truck had vanity plates reading “Ozollapa”. Janis’ truck was located on October 10th, 2014 in a parking lot located across the street from the Oakville GO station, in the rear lot of The Lighting Centre on Cross Avenue. Police were able to obtain surveillance video. The video showed an unidentified man running westbound on Cross Avenue shortly before 5:30 a.m. on October 1st, 2014. |
