Additional Information : | On the evening of her disappearance, Mabel returned home at approximately 10:00 p.m. after seeing a movie with a friend. Soon after she received a call and told her sister that she had to go out to meet with someone, but would not be gone long. Mabel left home at about 10:30 p.m. When she left, Mabel did not say who she was meeting. She drove off in her new 1990 silvery-blue Toyota Tercel. Her vehicle was found by police about 2 km from Mabel’s home. The car was found ten days later and had received three (3) parking tickets. The first ticket was issued about five (5) hours after Mabel was seen by her sister. Mabel worked as a translator and was very involved with her community. She often responded to those who needed her assistance. |
