Additional Information :
On September 2, 2010 partial human remains were located in a bush area approximately 30m (100 feet) from a paved road near Chemin Lac Clair in West Nipissing, Ontario.

Based on the forensic examination, this unidentified man it is believed to have died 2 weeks to 6 months prior to discovery. Foul play is not suspected in his death. The man may have been transient and passing through the area either from another province or country.

During the examination, a finger print was lifted. Police have entered the finger print into databases and run comparisons in various provinces and in the United States.

The man had several bandages placed between the heel and sock. During his life, the man may have experienced or complained about foot problems or pain.

A gym bag and back pack located near the remains contained clothing, food and personal hygiene items as listed above. These items were placed in "Ziploc" plastic bags.

This unidentified man carried papers relating to firearms possession and coins in his pant pockets.

West Nipissing Police would like to speak with anyone who may assist in this person's identification.
