What to do if … You See Yourself Here
Adults who disappear voluntarily and whose disappearance is not related to any criminal activity have not committed a criminal offence.*
If you are listed on Ontario's Missing Adults, it means that someone is missing you. You may wish to contact a family member to let them know that you are okay.
You can contact the contact agency listed on your case page or your local police. You will be asked to provide proof so that police are can verify your identity. It is also important for you to let police know what your wishes are about the disclosure of your contact information.
* The above is intended as general information only. Concerns or questions should be discussed with a qualified legal professional.
